Jean-Guy Cadorette
Vice President, Business Development and Communications
Since 1995, Jean-Guy has held several key roles within the organization. Since fall 2025, he has served as Vice President, Business Development and Communications, responsible for market development, the promotion of products and services, as well as quality and the management of contractual growth.

At the heart of his mission, Jean-Guy positions himself as a strategic ally in accelerating the growth of the seven business lines and all areas of activity. With his extensive network of contacts and his expertise in advisory services, he particularly excels at guiding clients toward the most promising, relevant, and sustainable solutions.

Business development is, above all, about building relationships and listening to the concerns of our partners in order to offer them solutions that make a real difference, today and for tomorrow.
Education
Holder of a master’s degree in environment from Université de Sherbrooke, Jean-Guy has completed specific training in environmental management systems, including ISO14001, as well as in administration, accounting, and technical studies at École de technologie supérieure and Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, in addition to a technical diploma in mining.
Background and Experience
With 53 years of experience in project management and water treatment facility management, Jean-Guy has led numerous significant projects, applying his technical skills to the development of Quebec’s infrastructure. Between 1981 and 1995, he worked at the Société québécoise d’assainissement des eaux du Québec, overseeing more than 200 water treatment projects with budgets of up to $150 million. Since joining Groupe HELIOS, he has held various senior management positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer of AQUACERS, the company managing the Centre d’Épuration des eaux de la Rive-Sud in Longueuil, and Vice President, Operations.
Involvement and Governance
From 2005 to 2024, Jean-Guy was actively involved with the sector workforce committee for the environment, EnviroCompétences, serving as a board member and employer co-chair.
